As far back as I can remember, I had a ball of some kind in my hand. Little League was my first experience with a coach, and through the years I found that all my good coaches had one thing in common: They all knew how to motivate their teams. As a twelve-year-old I began to learn more about the most important coach of all: Almighty God. I accepted His Son as my personal savior that year and began to read the Bible. I found throughout my playing days and years of coaching that Godas word uses many of the same motivational words that my former coaches used, which I also use today as a coach. I never dreamed of becoming an author, but one day while walking to school I felt Godas presence. He spoke to me as I walked, and He led me to write about these all important words and how they have influenced my life and the lives of many of my students and athletes.
