Protestant Fiction (1899)

I am on a personal journey and am inviting you to take me by the hand and walk through the tall weeds. Through my artistic pursuits I have been paying close attention to the details: of colors and patterns and material things. One day I picked up my pen and wrote down my observations, perhaps to a close friend or to a stranger, but they are endearing still. I hope you enjoy them even if they make you upset. I hope they run through your head endlessly. Last but not least, I hope you stop to admire the dandelions and all their fruit.
