Young Amara is distressed when she wakes to find that her plans for the day have been spoiled by what seems to be a never-ending rain. Fortunately Pap-pa comes to the rescue. He presents Amara with the most beautiful playhouse she could have imagined. Things become more exciting when Mommy and Na-na reveal a family secret. Amara is amazed to find that the little playhouse comes with a magical key. A key with an incredible history, that is capable of opening the playhouse door to the enchanted world of Madagra. In this world she encounters friendly animals who talk, mythical beings, and malevolent blue baboons. She also learns valuable life lessons and discovers what true friendship is all about. When the magical key is stolen Amara’s courage is put to the test as her real adventure begins. The secrets of Madagra and its powers are revealed as she and her friends are forced into an urgent race against time. With their help, she must attempt to retrieve the missing key before it reaches Janog, a powerful being, who with the key has the power of destroying not only Madagra, but Amara’s world as well.
