Light on the Hidden Way (1886)

Veteran detective David Morgan and his partner, Detective Lawrence Arnolie, are pursuing a killer who tracks down his beautiful female victims at random. The killer terrorizes the city of Phoenix, Arizona, with a double homicide that stuns David and his partner. With no clues except for a carving found on each of the victimsa abdomens, and no motive, David tries to figure out what the killer has in store. Then the killer slowly slips, leaving clues about his identity behind. David puts the clues together to find the identity of the man responsible for the series of murders throughout the city.
