Hood is a thief and a murderer. In his attempt to rob a high-profile bank, he meets a young man named Patrick who reminds him of himself from an earlier time. When Hood begins to relate his remarkably tragic past to Patrick, his true intentions become more and more diluted in the increasingly desperate situation. Patrick begins to understand the type of experiences that cause a man to hesitate on the bridge that connects good and evil, and sanity and madness. Hood assures Patrick and the rest of the hostages that they will be safe if they cooperate, but can they trust the word of a man who can kill without remorse?
