The British Fish Trade (1883)

During World War II, the US Navy launched a massive air attack on Japan’s island fortress at Truk. Flying a fighter in the assault was Lieutenant Sean Connors, who soon found himself in the gun sights of Matsuo Saito, one of Japan’s leading combat aces. Just as Saito fired his wing-guns at Connors, a large silver disc suddenly materialized between them. Less than a year later, nuclear fission is discovered and the first atom bomb is created.
