- The Shrine of Wisdom was a quarterly publication devoted to the study of Ideal Philosophy and pure Religious Mysticism. Its stated Objectives were: 1) To be instrumental in aiding the human Soul in the quest for union with God, as the Good, the True and the Beautiful; 2) To contribute towards the synthesis and unification of the wisdom of the ages as revealed in the philosophy, religion, and mysticism of the great known Teachers of mankind; and 3) To enshrine such aspects of this wisdom as are calculated to elevate, enrich, and expand the human consciousness. Contents of this volume include: Ten Doubts Concerning Providence-Extracts from the treatise by Proclus; Seed Thoughts; Orpheus and the Orphic Tradition; Jewels; Prayers of the Mystics; Simplicius on Freedom of Choice-From his Commentary on the Enchiridion of Epictetus; and Maxims of Ibn Gebiral.
