He affirms boldly that Law and God, Evolution and Design, Reason and Faith, the Natural and Supernatural, so far from being contradictory, actually imply and involve each other. After enlarging upon this, he brushes aside the fallacy that, while the sole requisite for Religion is faith, the sole requisite for Science is reason. He proves, on the contrary, that there can be no Religion apart from reason, no Science apart from faith.
