The author incorporates his lecture that had the purpose of supporting the proposition that Francis Bacon wrote the whole of the literature which has passed under the name of Shakespeare, with considerable additions, to comprise this book. He states that not one objection to this theory which has been raised within his knowledge will be evaded or left unanswered.
