Again and again did I overhear that old disciple expressing to herself the Lord’s kindness in the good providence that had given her a conveyance home, at such a time and under such circumstances. Then there was her calm and trustful repose on the kindly care and bountiful provision of Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps. More than once she exclaimed, when speaking in a low voice to herself, as we drove along, ‘ Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom !’

Dear Grandpa, exclaimed both the boys,
what a very interesting story you have told us ! Who would have thought that so much would have come out of your stopping and giving that poor woman a lift ? Did you ever see her again, Grandpa ?

Oh, yes; and I have much more to tell you about my after interviews with her, and how it fared with her till the Lord was pleased to take her home to Himself.

Dear Grandpa, we shall long to hear it, said both Tom and Charlie. Calk mi.
And now, dear Grandpa, will you please tell us something more about the market- woman? said Tom.
Well, dear boys, I very often thought of her, and was anxious to know how it fared with her.
