On New Year's Eve, I decided to try and write a poem in my sleep each night for sixteen nights. Before falling asleep, I would subject myself to a stimulus--be it a book, a conversation, a piece of music, or even, in one case, a documentary about basking sharks. The following day, I would write down the resulting piece, trying to capture the feeling and the import of the dream as exactly as possible. These are my results compiled, a museum displaying the contents of sixteen nights in January, 2012.
