The Goldie Boy, a short one-act play, featured in the 2007 Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival and also played Cork Arts Theatre with the Coachford Players. The kitchen of a rural Irish village house, after the funeral of Daniel, elder son of Mary and Dan. Father Martin and Noel stand, trying to converse in the tragic circumstances. Daniel's suicide from the local and infamous bridge has left the village in shock. Six actors, one set and one burning issue. A play that will leave you thinking about an issue we should all already have thought about, but always think won't happen to us.
