Poetic License is an enthralling compilation of poems and short stories that shares the author’s eccentric view of the world, people, and places that shape his unusual way of thinking. When writing, author Jeffrey Pipes Guice attempts to transcend his ego, allowing the words or thoughts to write themselves. In 2021, Guice celebrated his thirteenth year of sobriety. It has only been in the last few years that he has finally come to understand himself - including his shortcomings and insecurities. All of this has helped him reach the point where he felt strong enough to write this book.
