Composer Anatoly Konstantinovich Lyadov (1855-1914) is known for his highly programmatic music, often based on Russian subjects. Lee Evans has selected several of his lovely, short-and unjustly neglected-piano pieces and offers them in a new SuperScore edition for the intermediate to late intermediate level pianist. In the tradition of many of his other publications of classical works, Dr. Evans has enriched them harmonically with a touch of jazz.
