Strange Fire: Reflections on Family and Faith

Strange Fire is a collection of poems reflecting upon family and faith. Taylor derives much of her material from growing up with her eight siblings in a small farming community in Georgia, adding that family extended to her father’s seventeen brothers and sisters who gathered often to celebrate their upbringing and past. In addition, Strange Fire celebrates a faith that formulates questions and calls for a response, even in the darkest days of a pandemic.
