Spectral Heart is a collection of poetry, short stories, and journal entries meant to synthesize a feeling of the hidden parts of the heart. They cover mental health, dreams, childhood, and trauma. The purpose of keeping these things close to us even though their effects are not always on the surface; is to learn from them, and to develop a narrative of one’s own life that you can follow and learn from. Even though allegory meanings are not always obvious, each poem could be a puzzle if you want it to be, and Spectral Heart hopes to give you a private experience as you read it, unique to you and you alone.
