Sidestepping the Truth

Chad Randall owns a working ranch dedicated to helping children with handicaps gain self-confidence. He hires Paige Evert to teach these exceptional children because she is the only person he can find to work on his isolated ranch for such a meager salary. Paige doesn't have a Special Education degree, and that bothers Chad. He observes her classroom every chance he gets and against his better judgment falls in love with her. Paige needs this job because it's close to friends who are helping her right a wrong. She fights her attraction to Chad not only because things could get sticky if their romance doesn't work out, but also because she has a past she refuses to disclose.
