Ovejas Perdidas is the story of several characters in late 1930’s Spain. The country has been torn apart by Civil War. As the war begins to encompass the rest of Europe, the Nazis begin their Final Solution, using squads of the same soldiers that they had used to meddle in the Spanish Civil War. One such squad finds their very worldviews shaken by the peculiar events that occur on an otherwise routine sweep. Over the course of the story, a Nazi and a Jew discover that, despite their indoctrination and initial hatred, they are both humans, as capable of kindness and compassion as they are jealousy and prejudice.
