Welcome to Benjamin’s Bayou located in Southern Louisiana. Benjamin, the owner and head operator of the farm, believes that the farm and surrounding bayou is the perfect place to learn some of life’s most important lessons. He grew up there and sometimes feels that with each passing day, he has become more a part of it. He has learned patience, how to work hard, how to respect the land and the animals that live there, and how to provide for his family just like the generations before him did. With all the snakes, murky water, humidity, and mosquitoes, not everyone can see the beauty of the bayou. Benjamin, however, couldn’t feel more differently. The land is beautiful to him, and the creatures that exist there, are a reflection of the Majesty of his Heavenly Father. There is nothing more important to him than passing down a love for the land and for the Creator who made it to his six year old son, Dawson.
