Following an adolescence marked by drug use and crime, Anthony experienced a dramatic encounter with Jesus in a bedsit in a run-down seaside town. Months later, he began attending a local Anglican church but was eager to join one of the 'New Churches' emerging in the early 1980s.

For decades, he was an active member of local 'New' churches and participated in the signs and wonders movement they promoted. He advocated for change, seeking miracles and the ultimate goal - Christian revival across the nation.

His quest for this intensified until the unthinkable happened. Another encounter, almost as powerful as the first, led him, through seeking God and revisiting past teachings, to re-evaluate his Christian journey and his place in God's eternal plan. He realised that he and the Church in the West had been drifting away for years. His attempt to warn local believers was thwarted, prompting him to produce this astonishing tale of his discoveries.

"The Tide Has Turned" reminds us to be wary of being shaped by man-made ideas from the culture around us, both outside and within the Church.

Those puzzled by the collapsing culture of the West, events in the Middle East, and the direction of the Church in Britain will be amazed - and possibly disturbed - by the surprising insights in this book. It will challenge you to examine many of your cherished beliefs.
