There's a serial rapist at large in the city of Newcastle who violently assaults and marks his victims. Detectives Frank Bailey, Rachel Sharp and their team are desperate to find the perpetrator before the violence escalates. One woman, who lay undiscovered for some days, has already died from her injuries. Circumstantial evidence leads the police to focus on a number of potential suspects.
