Lt. Mike Ray was a naval aviator aboard the USS Hornet with VS-35 during the Far East cruise of 1965. Their airplane was the Grumman S2-D/E, a four crew twin engined prop plane affectionately called the "STOOF". Mike kept a meticulous journal of his day to day activities as well as hundreds of photographs. The book is a treasure.
