Christological Paradigm Shifts in Prophetic Pentecostalism in South Africa

Pentecostalism is the fasting growing form of Christianity in the world. As such, it figures prominently in both RS and Theology research.

This book focuses on Pentecostalism in S. Africa and the surrounding countries, like Zimbabwe. Pentecostalism is a particularly strong trend in Africa and so it is good to have a project that covers this area from an academic based there.

The book takes a critical look at some of the more recent Pentecostal practices in churches in S. Africa and so will offer an insight into the lived religion of S. African Pentecostals.

The book will have strong cross-market potential with African Studies.
