Voice of a new Race

This book is a collection of poems, a trilogy and an oration all written by Joseph T. Wilson. The poems are powerful and deal with themes of race, equality, and justice. The trilogy is about the life of an African American family over three generations. The oration was given by Wilson at the opening of a school in his hometown. Together, these pieces offer a unique glimpse into the life of an African American during the early 20th century and the struggles they faced.
