City Athletic Club

This small volume contains the constitution, by-laws, and house rules of the City Athletic Club, a private social and athletic club located in midtown Manhattan in the early 20th century. It also includes a list of officers, committees, and members. While of limited historical interest, it provides a glimpse into the social life and values of a segment of New York's wealthy elite in the Gilded Age.
