Nine Madrigals to Five Voices

A collection of madrigals originally published in a professional English music press in 1588. Nine of the pieces in this collection were written by Alfonso Ferrabosco, an Italian composer who spent much of his career in England. Each madrigal is written for five voices and features lush harmonies and complex counterpoint.
