Asmodeus

Asmodeus is a classic of French literature, written by Alain Rene Le Sage in the 1700s. The novel follows a demon named Asmodeus as he travels throughout Spain and observes the lives of its citizens. Through his observations, Asmodeus exposes the hypocrisy and corruption of Spain's ruling class. This translation by Joseph Thomas makes the novel accessible to English-speaking readers.
