A Pageant of the Thirteenth Century, for the Seven Hundredth Anniversary of Roger Bacon

Originally published in 1920, this pageant celebrates the life and times of the medieval philosopher and scientist Roger Bacon. Written and performed by students of Columbia University, the pageant features a variety of scenes depicting Bacon's accomplishments, including his experiments with gunpowder and his contributions to the study of optics and astronomy.
