Missisco Valley

Missisco Valley is a historical novel set in the rugged wilderness of 18th-century Maine. When French and Indian raiders attack the Missisco settlement, young Lydia and her family are forced to flee for their lives. Samuel Sumner vividly portrays the challenges and hardships faced by Maine's early settlers, as well as the courage and resilience required to survive in this harsh and unforgiving land.
