The Liberator was a weekly abolitionist newspaper published by William Lloyd Garrison from 1831 to 1865. It was one of the most influential antislavery publications of its time, and was instrumental in building public support for the abolitionist movement. The paper featured articles, editorials, and letters from prominent abolitionists, as well as news and commentary on slavery and other social issues of the day. The Liberator is an important historical document that provides insight into the struggles and triumphs of the antislavery movement.
