Vintage Art: Robert Jacob Gordon: 20 Botanical Prints features a curated selection of illustrations by Robert Jacob Gordon (1743-1795) a Dutch explorer, artist, linguist, naturalist, and soldier who was of Scottish descent. This book highlights some of the intricate drawings of flora and fauna that were illustrated by Robert Jacob Gordon during his expeditions in South Africa. He notably classified 250 animals and plants throughout his exploratory travels. The prints are one-sided and can be removed from the book by either using a box cutter or scissors, the illustrations are ideal for either framing or art and craft projects.
