Henry’s Almost Trip to Paris

In Book 3, Henry the Tulip Bulb has learned some French and has a new beret so he’s ready to visit Paris and Egypt with his friends, The Boa Sisters! But in the excitement of getting to the cruise ship, poor Henry is left behind. When the kindly cab driver realizes Henry has missed the ship, he takes him home to keep him safe and sound. Though he’s treated well, he misses his friends and is sad that he’s missed the trip of a lifetime. But when Emily, the cabbie’s daughter takes Henry to school where he’s asked to share his French and knowledge with the children, he finds that maybe having an attitude of gratitude will help him and help them, too.
