I always loved hearing nursery rhymes when I was a young girl and one of my favorites was Wee Willie Winkie. I had 3 dogs named Willie, Ozzie and JC and thought about turning the rhyme around a bit using them in my story. So Wee Willie Winkie III is about this old bedtime poem from my dog, Willie’s, perspective.
