This fully illustrated book for ages 3-8, Specky and His Magical Spin-Oculars, tells the story of how Specky was teased as a child because he had to wear glasses. When he grew up, he decided to make and deliver Magical Spin-Oculars to children who were not behaving properly. That is when Specky became a Super Hero.

Chunkee was very sad and needed a pair of Magical Spin-Oculars to help him to see there was something else to do besides sit on his computer all day and miss having his meals with his mommy and daddy. When Specky delivered the Magical Spin-Oculars to Chunkee, what will he decide to do when he puts them on?

Author Tweedy Katz is taking young children on a fun journey with Specky as he finds a way to remind children that there is a difference between proper and inappropriate behavior. This well-written and inspiring story delivers a fun learning message to children, complemented by vibrant, delightful characters and illustrations. I created this beautiful, non-violent, magical world for my twin daughters, Jennifer and Lauren, 30 years ago when they were small. When I became a mother, my vision for my children was to live together in a beautiful world that rained in all the colors of the rainbow and where there was no violence to be found. My wish is for all the children and parents who read my books to enjoy all the characters and stories I have written and developed from the love in my heart.
