For years, no one paid attention or listened to her, so she never spoke. Unimaginable abuse silenced her voice until domestic violence poems gave her a voice again. Many people struggle with the decision on how to best help those experiencing domestic violence. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to even know where to begin. It is said that a safe home isn’t possible without peace and support from family and friends.
