Howl Helps Bella

Join Howl the Owl as he helps his best friend Bella through a difficult time, while learning what it means to be an organ donor. The message of Help Others With Love (HOWL) shines through in this story about helping a friend, and the selfless act of a real-life superhero. Brenda Cortez takes on a sensitive subject matter as she brings awareness about organ donation and a child’s grief. She shows the comfort that can be felt when a loved one passes on, but has chosen to save others by being an organ donor. The story is based on certain real-life events after Brenda (who is an organ donor) and her husband Shawn meet Chris, Jessica, and Bella Spitzer at the 2016 Transplant Games.
