Who would leave their precious little daughters with a stranger? Chosen by God: The Little Brown One is packed with numerous testaments of how God brought Willie and her family through many trials and storms. The author was introduced to God and His goodness at an early age when she and her sister, Marie were left for more than five years with a stranger, their mom’s estranged boyfriend, aka, The Giant. Although The Giant abused them, he did one good thing; he sent Willie and Marie to church. The Giant thought New Hope Baptist Church, was just a built-in babysitter, to get them out of the house so he could do his thing/ But little did he know… that the mothers in the church, pastor and congregation would shower Willie and Marie with the love and affection they were missing and needed. The author will introduce you to her new Father. She will share her tumultuous expeditions from Memphis to Detroit to California. You will laugh, cry, become angry, and laugh and cry again. As hard as it was for the author to share her story, it is her desire that readers will know that God keeps His Word and with God ALL things are possible.
