She was on top of the world with her whole life ahead of her when suddenly, she was given a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and several of the life-changing symptoms that go along with it. MS does not kill you, so she had to find a way to not only live with this progressive and debilitating illness… but to embrace it.It has been Shirley’s faith in God and the very close personal relationship she has with Him that has enabled her to not succumb to depression, remain strong and positive, be an overcomer, and never give up.
