When a prosecutor targets the Richardson foundation as a conduit for bribing officials in Washington to win contracts for the Richardson weapons companies, Nate’s law school classmate calls him to New Haven to protect the foundation.

Nate and his associate, Margo, find themselves tangled in the intrigues of a sexually charged group. To avoid having their work compromised, Nate and Margo agree to share the details of their involvement with the individuals in the group. Margo’s openness about her sexual encounters is matched by Nate’s indiscrete description of his involvement with two of the women in the group and his revealing conversations about his marital troubles.
