Tidewater Hit

It’s the summer of 1986 off the coast of Georgia and in one heart-pounding moment, Abbey Taylor Bunn’s eyes dart from the fishing boat disappearing in the distance to the motionless body adrift near her rowing shell in the shark infested water. In the days that follow, while the hit-and-run stranger recovers in hospital and struggles to regain his memory, Abbey tracks bits of information like a bloodhound and chalks up one clue after another until a grim picture starts to form. Only when the final deadly piece falls into place does she realize how fully her good Samaritan act inserted her into the wounded framework of the lives of others.
