A Swift Brand of Justice

Brian Swift finds himself fighting more than criminals when a slow-healing injury and an invasive psychologist put his position as a homicide detective with Miami-Dade Police Department in jeopardy. His relationship with socialite and supper club owner Kaylen Roberts also moves onto rocky ground when she takes a consultancy position for charming young would-be restaurateur, Ziggy Stavros. Brian tries to solve the decades-old cold case murder of a fellow boat owner’s son up in Tampa while Kaylen suffers more than lingering post-traumatic stress when her former mentor, Sam Wilson returns to Miami with blackmail on his mind.
