Fighting Spirit

While Lowell, Massachusetts is best known for the thriving textile mills of the late 1800s and early 1900s, the untold success story of Lowell is The Acre section and how it spawned so many great boxers. Of equal importance, it gave birth to some unique and amazing boxing gyms, coaches, tournaments, and fans that can’t be found in any other neighborhood in the country.
