Cute Little Critters was written and illustrated by Jacqueline Mimi Whitfield for her grandchildren. She first wrote these poems on a manual typewriter and drew the pictures on typing paper in the 1960s for her three grandchildren. They have since morphed through the years for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchidlren–and now she is happy to share them with others.
