Welcome to the complicated and terrifyingly humorous world of Jimmy Williams, an eight year old boy growing up in a small Midwestern town in the 1960’s. Second grade has just ended, and many adventures await the young boy. What he thought would be another summer of teasing his three sisters and playing with his friends in the back yard is about to be turned on its head by a force beyond his control, namely his unpredictable older brother, who has decided it is time for his younger sibling to venture outside his cocoon by playing little league baseball. Before it is over, learning to pitch will be the least of the things he is about to experience. If he survives, his life will never be the same.
