Meet Chester, a young mouse living in the nooks and crannies of the US Naval Academy’s Bancroft Hall, the largest single dormitory in the world! He and the other midshipmice in the Naval Mouse Academy look up to the four thousand human students living in the Rooms Below , mimicking their traditions, lingo and challenging adventures. The problem is, the humans don’t feel the same way; they see the mice as, you guessed it, pests!
Hilarious and suspenseful conflict ensues as the rodents carry out what they believe to be a prestigious boot camp of their own, marching with pretzel-stick drill rifles, using sour-ball candy as ammunition, and rigging a pulley system with a tape dispenser! While the military equipment is different, the lessons learned by mice and humans are the same; teamwork, loyalty, leadership, honor, bravery and perseverance are what it takes to earn your stripes, no matter how small.
