Tales from the Green

Rosie, born Princess Rosamonde Whitewhiskers, a purebred Abyssinian, was abandoned in an inner-city alley. But Great Mother had other plans, and what should have been a death sentence became a magical adventure with a clan of feral cats from the Green. Rosie discovered a new life in a world of dreaming cats, talking trees and sentient animals. In the Green, Rosie discovered who she truly was.

As the shaman cat Ghost tells us: All cats dream and many remember, some as philosophers, dreaming of a better world, some as adventurers exploring their own. Some are poets, spinning tales of plump mice and round moons. Others are warriors stalking the borders of their turf. Some conjure like magicians. Some pray like priests. And some are just simple folk, dreaming about dinner and a pet before their nap. Whether ruled by their hearts, their minds, or their senses, whether they sleep on soft pillows or hunker in alleyways...all cats dream.
