Lacey Leighton

In 1877, thirteen year-old Lacey Leighton is invited to attend The Harlan School for Young Ladies, a finishing school outside Philadelphia. This opportunity will take her away from a miserable existence, and will teach her the finer things in life. Born with a fierce imagination, Lacey finds herself struggling between circumstances that cause her to question the school’s integrity. Yet, during these years, she is unaware of the school’s reprehensible intentions, her family’s malevolent ties to the school, and the threat posed to her own existence. As her suspicions mount, will she reason them away, or be thrust into a deep nightmare?
