The Boys of the Pines: A True Story

Brian Foley and his friends grew up at a time when political correctness was not something to be concerned with and helicopter parents did not exist. On the grounds of The Pines, a nursing home for the old and mentally ill, five friends spent much of their teenage years engaging in adolescent pranks and boyhood mischief, while coming of age in the Vietnam war era of the 60’s.
Raised in the shadow of the Pines as one of eleven children, Brian Foo Foley learned life skills that would lead him to an extraordinary career. Surrounded by his close friends, his experiences growing up in this unorthodox environment influenced Brian’s character and informed his decisions.
The Boys of the Pines is a story of a young man who, through hard work and shrewd decision-making succeeded beyond anyone’s wildest expectations.
