The Seven Rings of Man’s Destiny Book I: Jimmy and the Azure Ring is the first book in a trilogy of books (i.e., Book I, Book II, & Book III) still to come. It is a blend of mythic fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, adventure, and magical realism that follows Jimmy Rood (the protagonist) and his best friend (Ryan) through a seemingly innocuous adventure that spirals out of control, initially, but then forces them to choose between their ordinary existence and a life centered in an alternate, albeit mythological, reality.Brief Synopsis: Jimmy is trained by Ori (Guardian of the Azure Ring of Water) to become a Ring Bearer, while Ryan becomes a Guardian apprentice under Ori’s tutelage. Together, and with the help of other Ring Bearers (Zoonee and Parelo) and Guardians (Pazou), they travel back and forth to the seven continents of the world to find the other Ring Bearers and Guardians, so they can defeat Gorlev (the Ring Bearer of the Ruby Ring of Fire) before he gathers all the powers of the rings to forge the omnipotent Zeus Ring and take control of, not only his reality, but Jimmy’s as well.Age Range: This book was written for the middle grades and for young adults.
