Let Me Tell You Something!

A young girl wakes up from a dream, eager to tell her dad everything she knows to be true– from how lulubeans are harvested to the ins-and-outs of being an astronaut dog trainer! When the child slowly begins to doubt herself and her dreams, it’s dad’s turn to step in with his own idea of what’s so. By bedtime, belief in one’s dreams is tenderly restored.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: Let me tell you something was a phrase my second child, Linley, seemed to say all the time when she was two and three years old. Her innocent view of the world (and her desire to talk about it) gave us many laughs and many memories– and it’s these that I’ve set out to capture in this story.
